MSA
A "MSA" or "Meter Socket Adaptor" is a device, which
a technician from Satilla installs in your meter base. It protects--"standard
white mechanical equipment" within the residence--against power surges
that travel through the MSA. "Standard white mechanical equipment"
is defined as a washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, heating & cooling
system (electromechanical only), sump pump, other pumps inside
the home, trash compactor, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove and a stove
with an integral microwave sharing the same wiring. The MSA does not provide
protection for well pumps.
TTCM825
A "TTCM825" is an eight-outlet plug-in device along with a combination
of telephone and cable coaxial connection. This device protects--most
DSS or DBS satellite receivers, TVs, VCRs, or surround sound systems,
which are properly connected--against a transient voltage surge that travels
through the AC power, telephone line, or cable coaxial path. It cannot
protect the outdoor dish or any component thereon. This device must be
applied indoors on a grounded three-(3) prong outlet. *For an additional
$2.00 a month, you may add a TTCM825 to any package, or lease. An additional
unit may be necessary if you have more than one system you need to protect.
