Satilla EMC will be performing maintenance on our phone system on Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. During this time, we will be unable to accept phone calls. We will be monitoring our system for outages. Outages can still be reported on the Satilla app or web portal. If you have an emergency during this time, please call 911. Satilla REMC is attempting to locate former members whose capital credit checks were issued in 2018 but have been unclaimed. A list of these members and instructions for claiming these funds will be posted on April 1st at our corporate office located at 928 GA Hwy 32 E, Alma, GA, for review from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The last possible date to claim capital credit funds is September 30, 2024.

We assure you that we will not stop working until every member has power. We appreciate your patience during this time. Please stay safe and stay away from downed power lines.

Power lines are popular roosting spots for doves, making them tempting targets for dove hunters. Shooting doves while perched on power or fiber lines may be an easy shot, but it could damage the lines and lead to costly repairs. Also, shooting at the lines is against the law. We wish all hunters a safe and successful dove season and don’t forget to use caution around power and fiber lines!
