Honey Bun Cake

1 box yellow cake mix - sifted

8 oz. sour cream

2/3 cup of oil

1/3 cup of water

1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring

4 eggs


1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup light brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking pan. Mix batter ingredients together with mixer. Pour half of the batter into the greased pan. Sprinkle half of the filling mixture over the batter. Pour remaining batter over the filling mixture. Spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over top of the batter. With a knife, swirl over cake batter. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.


1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring

2 cups confectioner's sugar

4 - 5 tablespoons milk

Spread glaze over the top while cake is warm.
