Iced Blueberry Banana Loaf

1 cup mashed ripe bananas

2 cups biscuit mix

3/4 cup quick-cooking oats

1/2 cup milk

2 eggs

2/3 cup sugar

1 1/2 cup fresh blueberries


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. In large bowl, mix first six ingredients until moistened. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Gently fold in blueberries and pour batter into pan. Bake 45-55 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Run knife around sides to loosen loaf. Remove loaf from pan; cool completely.

For Icing:

3/4 cup 4x powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1 to 2 teaspoons milk

10 fresh blueberries

Mix sugar, vanilla, and milk until spreading consistency. Add the blueberries and mix well. Frost prepared banana loaf with this mixture. Garnish with leftover blueberries, if available.
