Satilla REMC Foundation donates $40,000.00 to County Libraries

As part of our commitment to our community—one of our seven cooperative principles—The Satilla REMC Foundation recently donated $5,000.00 to eight County Libraries in Satilla’s service territory totaling $40,000.00! The Satilla REMC Foundation presents $MART Grants to Middle School Media Centers

This week The Satilla REMC Foundation presented ten $MART Grants to middle school media centers within the nine-county area that Satilla REMC serves. The $MART Grant Program was implemented in 2009 to provide media and technology resources to middle, primary, and elementary school media centers. NOTICE OF LAST DATE TO CLAIM SATILLA REMC CAPITAL CREDITS

Satilla REMC is attempting to locate former members whose capital credit checks were issued in 2016 but have been unclaimed. A list of these members and instructions for claiming these funds will be posted on April 1st at our corporate office located at 928 GA Hwy 32 E, Alma, GA, for review from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The last possible date to claim capital credit funds is September 30, 2022.
